The Social Events Committee teamed up with the leaders of Exurbia to put together DA’s first-ever ART GALA January 29th 2022.
Guests were able to enjoy art from many different grade levels from the lower, middle, and upper school. There was wonderful music being played as you would continue walking down the hall to view all the pieces up for display. There were many workshops as well such as origami, collaging, as well as poetry which was led by 11th grader Amani Diallo.
We had a great team of photographers which were Mr.Slack, Ceci Moore, and Maggie Smith. There is also a photo booth room set up by Ms. Effron.
This event would not have been made possible without Meghan Phu, Tiffany Tsui, Omar Pasha, Kygston Gaddy, Nicholas Wang, Angus Cook, and Mr.Klein. Thank you to all who attended, chaperoned, and supported.
